Description

This adventure takes you off-road to some of Rottnest’s most scenic places. We’ll let you get to know your Segway in our off-road experience area before embarking on an amazing tour, delving into the military heritage of Rottnest and its pivotal role in the defence of Fremantle Harbour. Visit the Bickley Battery gun emplacements and Jubilee lookout, and learn how important Rottnest Island was in defence strategy during World War II. You’ll also have time to appreciate the pristine coastline and natural environment during your tour, pausing for photographs along the way.

Find a out about the diversity of the Island from the interior salt lakes which are sometimes pink to the amazing coastal Bays along the norther
side of the Island. From our base in the Settlement, our tour glides around the Settlement past the historical jail
and cottages before heading up to Bathurst Lighthouse. We pass through the bathing bays then through into the centre of the Island exploring the salt
lakes and natural woodlands. Our guides will make the history of the Island fun and enthralling with stories
of the settlement’s intriguing past the latest developments on the Island
